the Teen Summer Reading Club "All Together Now!" Read for chances to win exciting raffles!

 How It Works:

• Starting Tuesday, June 20 register in-person at the TeenSpace Desk or online (if you sign up online, don't forget to stop by TeenSpace for your welcome bag next time you are in the library).
• Register here: http://syossetny01.readsquared.com/ 
• On Monday, June 26, you can start recording your minutes on READsquared.
• When you reach 100 minutes of reading, you will be entered in all the weekly raffles.
• Reading for 600 minutes completes the program and you will receive an invitation to the Summer Reading Wrap Up Party at Puzzle Break.

What To Read:

• Anything! Fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, magazines, whatever you like, even the books you need to read for school! The one rule is you can only enter minutes from the books you read starting June 26.
• If you read something at the beginning of June, it doesn't couny towards your minutes but we are proud of you!

Weekly Prizes:

• Every week (starting July 3), prize winners will be randomly drawn from whoever has entered 100 minutes on their READsqaured account. You will be contacted if you are a winner.

Fun Stuff in TeenSpace:

• Book in a Jar - Guess the correct title of the book to be in the drawing for a gift card to Barnes and Noble.
• What's The Phrase? - Look around TeenSpace for flowers, some have letters on them. When you find all the letters, rearrange them to make the correct phrase. Correct entries will be in the drawing for a gift card to Escape Pod Comics in Huntington. You will be contacted if you are a winner.

Summer Reading Wrap Up Party:

• As mentioned before, in order to complete the 2023 Teen Summer Reading Club you need to record 600 minutes of your reading. The program ends on Monday, August 7, so make sure you get those minutes in as soon as possible. If you finish, you will receive an invitation to the Summer Reading Wrap Up Party! We will be meeting at Puzzle Break in Syosset to see if we can get out of their escape rooms (Remember - it's by invitation only!). There will also be pizza, drinks and raffles!

 The Teen Summer Reading collection on the 3rd floor has labeled extra copies of book on the current or recent SSD Summer Reading lists.

They are suggestion Fiction and Non-Fiction titles from Syosset Middle and High Schools, but not required reading.

Participation in the Reading Club is free. For Syosset Residents only.
